Africa Awaits: Join us in Accra, Ghana this summer!

Following the last two successful events, we're thrilled to announce the IFMA Global Africa conference will be held in Accra, the capital city of Ghana on 12-13 August 2026.

This significant gathering, co-hosted by the International Facility Management Association and the IFMA Ghana Chapter, will unite facility management professionals, industry visionaries and specialists from throughout Africa and worldwide.

IFMA Global Africa strives to function as a collaborative platform for sharing expertise and driving innovation across the facility management sector. Attendees will enjoy keynote addresses, expert panels, hands-on workshops, and strategic networking opportunities, all exploring the theme of "Scaling Up: Technology, Talent, and Transformation in Facilities Management for Developing Markets."

Facilities management across Africa is experiencing significant change. New technologies, evolving workforce expectations, sustainability priorities, and increasing demands on buildings and infrastructure are reshaping how FM is delivered in both the public and private sectors.

The conference theme focuses on how technology, people, and organizational practices are enabling this transformation, and how successful ideas and initiatives can be strengthened, sustained, and expanded over time.

While many FM teams are already innovating locally, the conference will explore how these efforts can move beyond individual projects or sites to deliver broader and more consistent impact across portfolios, organizations, and regions, without losing sight of local context and practical realities.
