For this Facility Tour, we will gather at 9:00 AM at our conference venue, The Zone. We expect to return to the venue around 3:30 PM. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early at the meeting point and wear comfortable shoes for walking. Transportation is provided for the full tour sequence (except optional drop-offs).

Our Facility Tour will start at the Sterling Towers—Africa’s first fully solar-powered high-rise and a flagship of sustainable innovation in the heart of Lagos Marina. This 17-story smart building, home to Sterling Bank’s headquarters, features over 3,250 integrated solar glass panels that generate nearly 1 megawatt of clean energy.
The building produces an average of 420,000 kWh of electricity annually and includes a cutting-edge 2.18 MWh energy storage system, ensuring continuous power supply. With its sleek design and green engineering, Sterling Towers is setting a new benchmark for eco-conscious commercial architecture across the continent.

Blue Line Marina
Train Station
Stop 2: 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM
Our program continues with a tour at the Blue Line Marina Train Station — Lagos' central flagship hub in the city's first electric rapid transit system. Opened in September 2023, this elevated station is the eastern terminus of the 27 km Blue Line, connecting Marina to Mile 2 and, eventually, Okokomaiko.

J. Randle Centre

Our Facility Tour ends with an architectural tribute to Yoruba heritage. The J.K. Randle Centre is a cultural hub featuring a museum, gallery, performance spaces, and landscaped gardens. Designed by Studio Imagine Simply Architecture, the centre blends modern sustainability with traditional Yoruba symbolism.
Explore interactive exhibitions, historical artifacts (including pieces linked to Fela Kuti), and vibrant storytelling spaces that bring Yoruba myths and heritage to life.
